With over 16 years of experience in property management and real estate transactions, I’ve been serving clients as a full-time REALTOR® since 2012. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Washburn University and a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication from National University—education that has strengthened my expertise in communication, marketing, and negotiation.

Throughout my career, I’ve successfully guided clients through the buying and selling of residential, country, investment, and multi-family properties. I also bring valuable experience from the Dallas, Texas market, giving me a broader perspective when navigating transactions.

My goal is simple: to provide a smooth, stress-free experience from the first showing to closing. I pride myself on strong communication, attention to detail, and building lasting relationships with my clients—many of whom return and refer their friends and family.

Outside of real estate, I wear many hats: woman of faith, wife, mom, dog mom, designer, and home fixer upper. I’m married to my wonderful husband, Shawn, and together we have a beautiful daughter, Kennedy. I’m also a proud bonus mom to Riley and Joie.

Our family loves spending time outdoors—whether it’s biking, boating at the lake, camping, or walking our dogs. My husband and I also own Karlin Construction Custom Homes & Remodeling, where we enjoy helping clients bring their vision to life through building and home improvements.

Jody has now helped us purchase our last 2 homes and sell our last one. She made every step of the process easy to understand, seamless and removed the stress of both selling and buying a house. We had a hard to sell property. Jody priced it right, negotiated hard and got it sold!! We couldn't be more pleased with her knowledge and expertise. We called Jody for help finding a home for our daughter to live in while going to college in Salina. We are from Colorado and needed more help than just showing us property. The purchase of this home involved a complicated personal situation and Jody was terrific in navigating sensitive issues and specific requirements. A true pro!
